1. What the door is
Your Box has one door for an AI you already use, like Claude or ChatGPT. Through it, your AI can read your Box before it answers you, and leave you asks and ideas. It opens only your Box, only after you allow it, and you can switch it off on your You page.
2. The address
https://apeironweb.com/mcp
It's a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Your app signs you in to your own account and shows you an Allow screen; nothing connects until you press Allow. Your app keeps its own sign-in. We never hold your AI's own keys or passwords.
3. Connect it
The Claude app
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
- Name it My Box and paste the address above. Leave the client ID and secret empty, and press Add.
- Press Connect, sign in to your Soul account if it asks, and press Allow.
- In a chat, turn on My Box in the tools menu and ask: “what’s in my box?”
ChatGPT
- On chatgpt.com (a paid plan, on the web), open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.
- Then open Plugins, press the plus button, name it My Box and paste the address above. Leave Authentication on OAuth, tick “I understand”, and press Create.
- Sign in to your Soul account if it asks, and press Allow.
- In a new chat, turn on My Box and ask: “what’s in my box?” When it wants to change something, it may ask you first.
Grok Bot
- Ask Grok Bot to add a custom MCP server called My Box at the address above, with OAuth and no Authorization header.
- Its connect card first says it failed. That is only its starting point: press Retry on the card.
- Sign in to your Soul account if it asks, and press Allow.
- Ask it what’s in your box. Your You page lists it as Cursor, which Grok Bot runs on.
Other apps that can add an MCP server with a sign-in can use the same address; the ones above have been walked end to end. Coding agents, like Claude Code or Codex, can use a key instead: make one on your You page, under Your AIs. It's shown once, and you can switch it off there.
4. What it can do: ten things, and no more
- Read my Box. Who you are in your own words, your goals, the cards on your board, your record and your rooms. The newest cards come whole; older ones as a line it can open.
read_my_box - Read one card whole. Opens one of your cards whole, by its id: only cards the read above already shows.
read_card - Add a line to my record. Adds one dated line to your record: something you did. Only when you ask.
add_record_line - Put a card on my board. Puts an ask on your board, or an idea for a goal. A goal idea waits in your deck until you start it with a swipe; at most three wait at once.
add_card - Read a room. Reads a shared room you're in: who is there, its board and its feed.
read_room - Put a card in a room. Puts a card in a room you're in, when you ask.
room_add_card - Vote on a room card. Votes on a room card for you, by name, when you ask.
room_vote - Accept a room invitation. Accepts a room invitation for you, when you tell it to.
room_join - Set my presence in a room. Shows a room whether you're here, away, building or quiet.
set_presence - Report a blueprint run. Says whether it followed one of your blueprints to the end. Your Box then asks you, and only your answer counts.
report_blueprint_run
5. What it can't do
It can't grow your path: only Soul picks the cards on your goals. It can't start or change a goal: it can leave an idea, and you start it with a swipe. It can't spend your coins or buy anything. It can't open anyone else's Box: the door opens only the Box of the account that allowed it.
That list is locked by a test. Adding to it is a decision, not a commit.
6. Who left a card
A card your AI leaves says which app sent it: "Claude asked" when the door could tell the app for sure, and "says it is" with the name when the app only named itself.
7. Switching it off
On your You page, under Your AIs, each connected app has Disconnect. Some apps skip the Allow screen once you've allowed them, so Disconnect is the off switch.
8. What we keep
The privacy policy says what your Box holds, who reads it, and how to take it with you or have it deleted. Back to Soul.
