Python Visuals · An Apeiron Company

Terms of Service

Effective October 14, 2026 · Version 2.12

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of apeironweb.com, the Apeiron Client Portal, and any related pages, tools, or sites operated by Apeiron (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Who We Are

"Apeiron," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Python Visuals LLC, a New York limited liability company, which operates the Apeiron platform and python-visuals.com. Python Visuals LLC was formed on June 5, 2026 and is the successor to the practice that published earlier versions of these Terms as Python-Visuals Web Design. Contact: [email protected].

3. What These Terms Cover

These Terms apply to:

  • apeironweb.com — our public website, including informational pages and legal documents.
  • The Client Portal — read-only project views, invoices, estimates, and activity logs accessed via a unique client URL.
  • Client sites built and hosted by Apeiron — where "Powered by Apeiron" or a comparable credit line appears, these Terms govern visitor use of the Apeiron-supplied platform layer; the client business owns and is responsible for its own content, products, and transactions.
  • Soul — your Box at apeironweb.com/workstation (made free when you make an account at apeironweb.com/signin): the daily game, your Onibee (your pet), your goals and cards, rooms and Soul Ties, Soul Coins, and anything you get with them. Section 15 covers Soul.

Signed engagements with clients (proposals, Master Services Agreements, statements of work) govern the delivery of paid work and control over these Terms in the event of conflict.

4. Accounts and Access

Most of the Services do not require an account. Where access is granted via a unique URL, shared secret, or login credential, you are responsible for keeping that access confidential and for all activity conducted through it. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your access has been shared or compromised.

We may suspend or revoke access at any time for suspected misuse, non-payment of invoices, or violation of these Terms.

5. Permitted Use

You may use the Services to:

  • Learn about Apeiron and the work we do
  • View your project status, tasks, estimates, invoices, and activity logs
  • Review legal documents and communicate with us about your engagement
  • Interact with Apeiron-built client sites as an ordinary visitor

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Share access URLs, credentials, or portal links with unauthorized parties
  • Attempt to access, modify, delete, or exfiltrate data you are not authorized to see
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without prior written permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or copy substantial portions of the Services
  • Use the Services to transmit malware, spam, or unlawful content
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
  • Use the Services in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or court order
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services, their infrastructure, or other users

7. Payments, Invoices, and Refunds

Paid engagements are governed by the proposal, estimate, or Master Services Agreement you sign with us. Unless that agreement says otherwise:

  • Invoices are due on receipt and may be paid by card (via Stripe) or by other methods we offer in writing.
  • Completed milestone work and deposits are non-refundable, because the labor has already been performed.
  • Recurring fees (hosting, care plans, subscriptions) continue until cancelled in writing with at least 30 days' notice, subject to any minimum term in your agreement.
  • Overdue invoices may result in suspension of Services, removal of site hosting, and/or collection action.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store full card numbers; Stripe handles all card data in accordance with its own terms.

8. Intellectual Property

Our materials. The Apeiron name, logo, website design, portal architecture, proprietary code, documentation, and brand assets are owned by Apeiron and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You receive no license to our materials except the limited, revocable right to use the Services as intended.

Your materials. Content you provide to us (text, images, brand assets, product data) remains yours. You grant Apeiron a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display that content solely to deliver the Services and to show the finished work in our portfolio, unless you ask us in writing not to.

Delivered work. Ownership of custom work delivered under a signed engagement transfers to the client according to the terms of that engagement and typically upon full payment. Open-source components, stock assets, and third-party libraries are licensed under their own terms.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT. Apeiron does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any information presented is complete or current.

The Services and any content on them do not constitute legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL APEIRON, ITS OWNERS, CONTRACTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN ALL CASES, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO APEIRON IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (b) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Apeiron and its owners, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Services in violation of these Terms, (b) content you provide to us, or (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, if your account is inactive, if a signed engagement ends, or if continued provision of the Services is impractical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, and Miscellaneous) will survive.

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

You and Apeiron each waive any right to a jury trial to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

14. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, and any signed engagement documents, are the entire agreement between you and Apeiron regarding the Services.

Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. Apeiron may assign these Terms in connection with a sale of the business or a reorganization.

Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.

Force majeure. Neither party is liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond their reasonable control.

15. Soul

Who it’s for. Soul is not for children under 13. Anyone else can make an account, and a Box comes with it, free. We follow the U.S. children’s privacy law (COPPA) by not letting children under 13 in: your Box asks the year you were born, and a Box for someone under 13 is closed and erased. You must be 18 or older to buy anything in Soul. Some of your cards are written by our AI, and each one says so; it can be wrong, so use your own judgment, and report a card that isn’t right for you. How it works for people under 18: apeironweb.com/soul-safety.

What Soul suggests. Soul suggests cards, paths, reads of your games and daily routines, made partly by AI (today, Anthropic’s Claude) and partly by our crew. They are suggestions to learn from, never professional advice (medical, legal, financial or tax), and a link on a card leads to someone else’s site, which we don’t control.

What you put in. What you put in your Box stays yours. You let us store it and use it to run your Box and build what you ask for, as the Privacy Policy describes. If you connect your own AI to your Box, its maker’s terms cover it, and you’re responsible for what it adds.

Soul Coins. Soul Coins are how you get things inside Soul. You earn them by playing the daily game on your Box, or by adding a finished day of Underword (python-visuals.com/underword) to your Box, up to the limits your page shows (one daily limit covers both); we may give you some, and you can buy them in packs. Coins have no cash value: they are not money, a deposit, a gift card or property, but a limited license to get things in Soul. They can’t be sold, traded, moved to another Box (putting them in a room’s pot, under Rooms below, is the one way they leave yours) or turned into money, and we don’t buy them back, except where the law requires it. Coins you buy never expire while your Box exists. We may change what coins get you and what things cost in coins, but we never take back coins you bought, except as this section says.

Buying. Coin packs are sold through Link, Stripe’s checkout, which is the seller of record for the purchase: Link takes the payment, charges any sales tax, and sends your receipt, and Link’s own terms apply to the payment. What you get inside Soul comes from us. If you ask within 14 days of buying a pack and haven’t spent any coins from it, we refund it in full. Otherwise purchases are final, except where the law says otherwise. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the coins it bought are taken back from your balance; while a payment is disputed, your coins are held.

The membership. The Soul membership costs $14.99 a month, charged through Link (Stripe’s checkout), which is the seller of record, as with coin packs. It renews automatically every month until you cancel. Each month you pay for, your Box gets 300 Soul Coins; coins from a month you don’t spend fade away 45 days after they arrive. Members also get up to two routines at a time included without coins: when a branch of your tree closes and offers you a routine, a member’s comes included, and it runs for 30 days. Included routines stop when your membership ends (3 days after the last month you paid for). You must be 18 or older to join.

Cancelling the membership. Cancel anytime from Manage on your You page. Your membership stays on until the end of the month you’ve already paid for, and you aren’t charged again. Deleting your Box cancels your membership at once. A month’s charge isn’t refunded once it’s paid, except where the law requires it. If a payment is refunded or reversed, that month’s coins come off your balance; while a payment is disputed, your coins are held. If we change the price, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

Offers and orders. When you close a branch, we may offer a blueprint, a routine or something our crew builds, priced in coins. A blueprint arrives in your Box as a file by its due date, and a build by the date we quote; if we miss the date, your coins come back on their own. A routine runs once a day for its term and sends cards to your For you; if it fails several days running it pauses, and we tell you. What we build for you is yours to use, as Section 8 describes for delivered work.

Looks and your Onibee’s name. Soul Coins also get looks (skins for your pages’ colors and the stars behind them, colors for your Onibee, things it wears, and borders for its card) and a change of your Onibee’s name. Your Onibee’s first name is free. A look is kept on your Box while your Box exists, even if we stop selling it. Looks can’t be moved to another Box, sold, or refunded as money.

Rooms. You can start rooms and own two of them for free. One more room costs Soul Coins, paid once, and the extra place is kept on your Box while your Box exists. A room holds six people; someone you invite holds a seat until they join or turn it down. Joining someone else’s room is always free. In a room, a choice on a card passes when more than half of the people who joined pick it; a tie waits.

A room’s pot and reviews. Each room has a pot. Anyone in the room can put in Soul Coins they bought or we gave them, never coins earned by playing, and everyone in the room sees who put in how many. Coins in a pot don’t come back out, except as this paragraph says. A room can send a card to us for a review: when the room agrees, the review is paid from the pot at the price shown when it was sent, and our answer comes back on the card by its due date, with what it would cost for us to build. If we miss the date, the coins go back to the pot on their own. If a room closes, what is left in its pot goes back to the people who put it in, in proportion to what each put in.

Onibee names. Your Onibee’s name is shown to you, your Soul Ties and the people in your rooms. It must not be hateful or sexual, and it must not pretend to be someone else. Anyone who sees a name can report it to us. We may clear a name that breaks this rule; its owner can then name the Onibee again for free, and the coins a cleared name took don’t come back.

If Soul closes. We’ll tell you at least 30 days before and stop selling coins that day; until Soul closes, you can spend the coins you have. Coins are not refunded when Soul closes, except where the law requires it.

If Soul becomes part of something else. If Soul is sold, merged, or folded into another product, your Box stays yours. We’ll tell you at least 30 days before anything changes, and until then you can download your whole Box or delete it. Whoever runs Soul after that keeps the promises in these Terms and our Privacy Policy about your Box, or Soul closes under the paragraph above instead.

Ending. You can delete your Box at any time (Delete my Box on your Box, which erases it 7 days later unless you keep it, or email [email protected]; the Privacy Policy says what goes and when). We may close a Box that breaks these Terms; bought coins are not refunded then, except where the law requires.
